A Warrior’s Journey Through Time
Departing from Edge of the Camp Gift Shop in Garryowen, Montana, the tour winds through Lodge Grass, past the legendary land known as “Where the Grass Grows With No Water,” and along Good Luck Road—each mile revealing another layer of history.
From there, we travel along U.S. Highway 91 past the site of the Grapevine Battle, east of Fort Smith, before making our way to the site of the Arrow Creek Battle on State Hwy 418 near Pryor, Montana—a place where warriors once defended their lands with unwavering bravery. The tour then will circle through Crow Agency to the site of the Crow Rebellion.
Throughout the journey, you’ll hear detailed accounts of each battle, uncovering how these conflicts shaped Apsáalooke life, warrior traditions, and their fight to protect their homeland. This tour isn’t just about history—it’s about the legacy of a people whose spirit still rides on the wind.
The tour circles back to Garryowen, but the power of these stories will stay with you long after. Join us for a rare and unforgettable look at Montana’s warrior history—where every mile tells a tale of resilience and honor.
